Symptoms: 
Spots in picture. They begin with just one or two white dots. Then the spots multiply. The dots can also be mixed black and white.

Sony HS510 XBR400 HS420 - Clicks then shutdown 6 or 7 blinks

Symptoms: 
Clicks on then off. Gives 6 or 7 blink code (blinks 6 or 7 times between pauses). May start off as an intermittent problem that progresses until TV never comes on anymore.
